Terms of Service
These Terms are a template and must be reviewed by a qualified UK solicitor before being used commercially. They do not constitute legal advice.
1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of the FlowNest Reservations platform to make a table booking at a participating restaurant. By making a booking you accept these terms.
2. The platform and the restaurant
FlowNest Limited operates the booking platform. The restaurant that you are booking with is responsible for delivering the dining experience. Any contract for the meal is between you and the restaurant directly. FlowNest is not party to that contract.
3. Booking confirmation
When you complete a booking you will receive an email containing a confirmation code. Your booking is confirmed when this email is sent. The restaurant may contact you to confirm details, particularly for larger parties or special requests.
4. Cancellations and amendments
You may cancel or amend your booking by contacting the restaurant directly using the contact details in your confirmation email. Each restaurant operates its own cancellation policy. Some restaurants may charge a cancellation fee for late cancellations or no-shows; such terms are communicated by the restaurant at the time of booking.
5. Hold time
Restaurants hold your table for a short period after your booked time (typically 15 minutes). If you arrive after this period the table may be released to other guests.
6. Accuracy of information
You must provide accurate booking details, including the number of guests, contact details, and any allergy or accessibility information. The restaurant relies on this information to plan your visit.
7. Allergies and dietary requirements
Where you provide allergy information, it will be passed to the restaurant. While restaurants take reasonable care, they cannot guarantee a kitchen environment free from any allergen. If you have a severe allergy, please discuss your needs with the restaurant directly before your visit.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Make fraudulent or speculative bookings
- Use false contact details
- Attempt to disrupt or interfere with the platform's operation
- Resell or transfer bookings
We may cancel bookings and restrict access to the platform if we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.
9. Liability
We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or breach of your statutory rights as a consumer.
Subject to the above, FlowNest is not liable for the conduct of the restaurant, the quality of food or service provided, or any loss or damage arising from your visit. Any such matters must be raised with the restaurant directly.
10. Privacy
Our handling of your personal data is described in our Privacy Notice.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, save that consumers resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland may also bring proceedings in their local courts.
